1. Calling Listing Agent or Seller - Buyers should filter all questions through the buyer's agent.
2. Becoming Unqualified - Don't buy ANYTHING that will require your social security number or pulling your credit. Even if you decide not to purchase something, that pull can cause problems with your financing.
3. Acting Like You Own the Place - The home isn't yours until you have closed and have the keys. Don't treat it like it's yours. It's still the sellers. Be respectful.
4. Requesting Too Much Access - You may need measurements or get a quote on something, but, try to limit these things to one trip if possible. Remember it's not your home.
5. Being Deceitful - Don't make offers you don't intend to keep to try to manipulate the seller. Also, don't give your agent false impressions about what you can/can't do as well.
6. Trying to Rush People Along - Be respectful of the timelines and don't try to push things too quickly.
