British photographer, writer, and storyteller. Best known for his work documenting the long-term impact of war taking him to over a dozen countries. After losing both legs and his left arm in 2011 whilst in Afghanistan photographing those in the conflict, Giles told his doctors “I’m still a photographer”, and returned to work in Afghanistan less than 18 months later. — Recorded live at the global event in Cardigan, west Wales in 2018.
