Season One, Episode Seventeen: Tash Crosby @talk_peach

September is Gynaecological Awareness Month! Did you know there are FIVE gynaecological cancers? I did NOT.

To kick off the month I was fortunate enough to spend an hour chatting with gynaecological cancer charity founder, Tash Crosby. The episode features Tash’s experience with having to fight for her diagnosis and what it was like getting through cancer treatment and coming out the other side. Tash started her amazing charity when she received her own diagnosis. With terrifyingly low survival rates Tash describes herself as a gynie cancer unicorn! The primary goals for Talk Peach are education and awareness, support, advice and fundraising research.

She continues the fight for funding from government while prioritising offering connection to other womxn who are experiencing one of the five gynaecological cancers. Tash is doing an incredible job to educate the community on the signs and symptoms of gynaecological cancers in order to reduce late diagnosis.

Don’t fear the smear!!!
