Award-winning writer, appearance activist and now author - these are just a few of Carly Findlay’s achievements and it was amazing to sit down with her to discuss her new memoir Say Hello. Carly was named as one of Australia’s most influential woman in the 2014 Australian Financial Review and Westpac 100 Women of Influence Awards. She writes on disability and appearance issues for the ABC, SBS and Daily Life. She identifies as a proud disabled woman living with a rare severe skin condition known as Ichthyosis. We talk with Carly about her new memoir, fashion, blogging and her writing process.
