"Let us start the game." In this issue Josh, Leah, Charlotte and Cane and Rinse newcomer Jesse uncover the treasures and dark desires of the fifth entry in Atlus and P-Studio's Shin Megami Tensei offshoot JRPG series. We discuss the game's message to "Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There!" in the face of societal injustice and corrupt individuals in positions of power, but "Beneath the Mask" we uncover a desire to engage in the very thing it's so keen to criticise. Do the Phantom Thieves manage to steal our hearts? Is sneaking, shooting, slicing and Persona splicing a success? Can we manage to focus on our studies or do we end up eating unreasonably large burgers, believing this somehow makes us "brave"? Will the Cat let us sleep when we god damn choose or will it continue to steal precious hours of social time from us!? Does the game hold a "Last Surprise" none of us were expecting? Join us, as we cover 2017's Persona 5. http://media.blubrry.com/caneandrinse/caneandrinse.com/podcast/cane_and_rinse_issue_368.mp3 Music used in this issue: 1. Last Surprise by Shoji Meguro2.
