Shaykh Faraz Rabbani continues reading and explaining Taj Al- Arus ( The Refinement of Souls) by Imam Ibn ‘Ata Illah al-Sakandari. Shaykh Faraz describes how repentance purifies the heart. The first step to purifying the heart is repentance. Repentance washes away the darkness of the heart. Repentance comes forth with the sweet smell of acceptance. He goes on to explain that the one who repents to Allah, is beloved to Allah. Allah rejoices when his servant repents. Therefore all believers should continue to return to repentance seeking the mercy of Allah therein.
