After Twitter put fact-check links on some of President Trumps tweets, the White House has responded with an executive order to try to remove some legal protections for social media companies. Section 230 of a 1996 law call the Communications Decency Act provided social media companies protection of not getting sued. However, now by editing peoples posts they are now editing posts, which takes them into the description as a publisher. I have been fact checked several times. It makes me angry because I posted a link to a main stream media article and Facebook didn't agree with what was said and they fact checked it with a biased source link to support their view. That is very wrong. That is not free speech, that is oppressing my post with their view by calling it fact checking. Totally wrong. If you have any questions or comments, send me a text to 818.252.5682 www.lodge-co.comIf you like my podcasts, please support me by becoming a Patreon of my work.
