In this episode, we are joined by Dave Payne who is currently the Vice President of Health, Environment, and Safety for Chevron. Dave has been working in the Oil and Gas industry for 39 years. He graduated with a degree in petroleum and natural gas engineering from Penn State University in 1981 and immediately joined Getty Oil Company in Santa Maria California. He worked in California, Trinidad, and Tobago, Louisiana, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. In 2006 he became the Vice President of Drilling and Completions for Chevron. His career has transitioned from a focus on technical issues to people and leadership development. He is interviewed by Laura Senior Garcia, Chief Operating Officer with Equilibria.
