Tropical Storm Sally Tracking Toward the Northern Gulf Coast - Tropical Storm Sally is forecast to strengthen to a hurricane early next week as it moves across the northeastern Gulf of Mexico. Hurricane and Storm Surge Watches have been issued from southeastern Louisiana to the Alabama coast. Flash flooding is also likely with 6 to 12 inches and locally 18 inches. Further east, a Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for a portion of the Florida Panhandle.
