Over the years Ken Ham and Answers in Genesis have decried the notion that Hank does not hold to the young-earth creationist perspective. A perspective that views the earth and universe as being in the neighborhood of six thousand years old. “Hanegraaff’s problem,” says Ham, “is his unwillingness to understand Genesis in its most natural form—as a historical narrative.” This, however, is far from true. Hank firmly believes that Genesis is a historical narrative. But it’s much, much more than that.
