Delta Impacting Portions of the Northern Gulf Coast; Heavy Rainfall to Overspread Much of the Southeast U.S. - Delta will continue to impact portions of the Gulf Coast with storm surge, heavy rainfall, flooding, and dangerous winds as it advances northward. The potential of flooding will also overspread much of the Mississippi Valley, Tennessee Valley, and Appalachians this weekend. Elsewhere, unsettled weather is expected over the Pacific Northwest, with warmer temperatures for the Plains.
