Zeta Landfall Expected Today; Southern Plains Snow and Ice to Taper Off - Areas of snow, sleet, and freezing rain will slowly taper off across portions of the southern Plains on Wednesday as warmer air is drawn north ahead of Zeta. Zeta is forecast to bring hurricane conditions, life-threatening storm surge, and heavy rainfall to portions of the northern Gulf Coast by Wednesday evening. Heavy rainfall is expected through Thursday along Zeta's track to the Mid-Atlantic.
