When a new Marvel Studios' movie releases, I, of course, have to be there front and center to watch the hell out of it. So here is my Movie Review of the first female superhero within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, 'Captain Marvel'.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Who is Captain Marvel?
  • How does 'Captain Marvel' fit into the MCU?
  • How accessible is 'Captain Marvel' if you haven't seen many MCU movies?
  • I discuss how 'Captain Marvel' made me aware of a superhero trope that I didn't know existed before.
  • My take on the strongest and most ridiculous criticism behind 'Captain Marvel'.
  • Brie Larson is an absolute delight.
  • We take Samuel L. Jackson for granted way too much.
  • Ben Mendelsohn is the surprise take away after watching 'Captain Marvel'.
  • I discuss what the most unnecessary aspect of 'Captain Marvel' was.
