Save the whales! End world poverty! Stop the trafficking of children!

We’ve all heard the calls to action. And felt the pull to do ‘something’ great in the world.

But what if we told you setting yourself up with unrealistic expectations like this will only lead to disappointment? That what you really need to be doing is seeking Inspired Action instead!

Well, this week Mitch and Mills are diving deep into not only WHAT Inspired Action is, but HOW to recognise when we are seeking it, on a physiological level.

Start by asking yourself three simple questions:

- What is the last thing you did that made you feel inspired?
- What is the last thing you did that made you feel connected?
- What is the last thing you did that aligned with your values?

Because once you’ve identified what inspires you, it’s easier to look past all the distractions out there. And build more of these actions into your day.

So what sort of feelings should you be on the lookout for, to let you know you’re on the right path? A sense of:

- Selflessness (What you are doing helps you form connection)
- Timelessness (Being present and in the moment)
- Effortlessness (It doesn’t drain you, but fills up your cup)
- Richness (You feel accomplished after it is done)

Just remember - Inspired action doesn’t have to be BIG. And it doesn’t have to be linked to your career. It can be the smallest thing in the world - like going for a bike ride or playing with your kids. So long as you plug in, and be present.
