A virtual machine is useful in a lot of development scenarios, but it's particularly essential in Linux Kernel development. It can be really time-consuming to install the kernel on your own system and then needing to reboot the machine just to see if your printk is working. For those developers, creating a minimal image for testing comes in handy. In this talk, I'm explain how to do so using an Arch Linux native tools.
