We must learn to open God’s book—the Bible. God has spoken so our aim is to try to understand what God has said. The more we study the Word, the more freely the light comes. “The unfolding of your words gives light” means that God’s Word gives light, but also that this light grows increasingly with our understanding of the Word. As you allow God’s Word into your heart through studying and meditating on it, your heart is flooded with light.
