The First Episode - "An Unearthly Child"

This is the season of new "Doctor Who," so Jessica and Phillip travel to the very start of the franchise with the 1963 premeire episode - "An Unearthly Child." They look at what was established early on, and how the characters of the Doctor and his three companions (Susan, Barbara, and Ian) took the first steps that led to the Thirteenth Doctor.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple re-vists the rebirth of "Doctor Who" in 2005 with "Rose," introducing the Ninth Doctor and his companion. How well did the "re-introduction" work for new audiences?

What do you think has changed the most in over 55 years of the franchise?
