To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Lee Hutchison is joined by author and script writer, Will Stape. Will is an Emmy Award nominated screenwriter, book author and content producer. He's written for magazines, the web and for several highly respected TV shows, most notably for the Star Trek franchise.Will has helped write two episodes of Star Trek, 'Homeward' in the Emmy nominated 7th season of The Next Generation and 'Prophet Motive' for Deep Space Nine's 3rd season.

Will shares with Lee how Larry Nemecek's Star Trek: The Next Generation companion helped him write for the show, the process of writing and pitching for Star Trek to Jeri Taylor, the ideas and pitches for Deep Space Nine and Voyager that made the cutting room floor and getting to pitch to Michael Piller on The Dead Zone.

Will also wrote the highly rated book, Star Trek Sex: Analyzing the Most Sexually Charged Episodes of the Original Series. Lee and Will discuss the inspiration behind the book and what Will learned about why Star Trek and sex went hand in hand during The Original Series.

Will and Lee reflect on the first 4 episodes of Star Trek: Discovery and what Will thinks as a fan and writer of the show so far.
