In 1971, Clint Eastwood and Don Siegel introduced audiences to a new kind of hero: Inspector Harry Callahan, a.k.a. Dirty Harry. He's rough, he's tough, he's not interested in your excuses and he'll do anything he can to get the job done (hence the nickname). The groundbreaking action flick became an unexpected success for Warner Bros. and went on to spawn four sequels.
