Imagine a world…
In our third episode of Imagineers in Isolation, we are honoured to have the accomplished maker and prolific creative technologists, Mic Black with us here. He is a strong advocate and contributor to the growth of the maker movement in Australia supported by connections to the worldwide maker community to develop a commercially sustainable creative technology innovation ecosystem. Mic’s work encourages creative use of technology and collaboration to engage high profile brands, emerging communities, and high-value industry sectors. If Mic doesn’t make you want to get out and make something, we don’t know what will!
Please excuse the glitches, echos, and audio levels from recording on Zoom. Unfortunately, there were some internet drops and interruptions during this week’s interview. Also, please note that this was recorded while we were under stricter restrictions at the beginning of May.
While the Imagineers Festival may have been postponed to next year by COVID-19, we at Imagineers always believe in the light at the end of the tunnel. And the silver lining has taken the form of Imagineers in Isolation. Imagineers in Isolation provide the joy, imagination, and entertainment of the festival to the people in isolation, allowing us to indulge in our creative spirits. After all, this is the true essence of Imagineers.
Imagine the possibilities…
