A frequent guest on MSNBC and the founding co-anchor of the political podcast In the Thick, she is also the host of WGBH's talk show Maria Hinojosa: One-on-One. Her work has earned four Emmy Awards, two Robert F. Kennedy Awards, and the Edward R. Murrow Award. In Once I Was You, Hinojosa relates her experience of growing up Mexican American in Chicago to our current immigration crisis.
