Three years in the making, Run is a documentary film centred around the personalities and stories in The Athlete Refugee team. Directed by Richard Bullock, the film originally started off a short segment about the world refugee running team and snowballed into a full-length documentary as the story twisted and turned its way towards the Olympics. During the process, Richard discovered the challenges facing displaced people and how running can change their fortunes and bringing people together (as well as its limitations). In this episode Jody and David speak to Richard about the athletes and stories involved and what has become of the team since the Olympics was postponed due to coronavirus. Enjoy!
