Today on the Pride Series I interview Vic Self. A trans man originally from New Zealand who relocated to Philadelphia around 2015. Victor Self is a proud Aotearoa/New Zealand native who immigrated to the United States almost 5 years ago and began transitioning to male just over one year ago. He is proud of his journey towards celebrating himself as a fat, queer trans man in recovery. He has a varied background in theater, comedy, sex work, insurance, and as a Casino dealer. He lives with his lovely partner in West Philadelphia, where he is currently exploring a Jewish life and intersectional organizing. He is also beginning to intern as a dog trainer and dreams of helping service dogs help all kinds of people.
