Seeing a ghost can be a chilling and life-changing moment. Today we hear the story of what it was like the moment some friends realized they just had an encounter with the dead. Here is a sample of a story. "We kept the shades pulled down so you could only see out of the bottom half of the window. I get halfway across the room headed to the door and I see the bottom half of a man with riding boots on and a long duster type jacket on. I froze for a minute and he stopped in front of the window. I started for the door again and I could hear boots walking away. I threw open the front door and went out on the porch and he was gone. Goosebumps like crazy raised on my arms. So later that day my Son and I go to town to kind of check things out and grab some lunch. We were driving down the main strip and we were looking at this BBQ place that had a funny sign on it as we were passing by and my son say's" look at that guy in the Confederate uniform walking by the railroad tracks". So, I slowed way down, and I see him, and he sees us. He nods his head at us and smiles and walks right into the side of the BBQ building (not the door) and disappears. He looked solid, not what you would think a ghost might look like. We FREAKED out!"
