August 24th, 2004: 31 year old Billy Smolinski tells a neighbor that he's headed out of town for 3 days. And he is never seen again. Billy has an extremely close relationship with his family and friends, who immediately know that something is wrong--he would never vanish on purpose or intentionally cut off ties with the people he loves. And then his car mysteriously returns to his driveway, but no Billy.
