What happens when you are given the gift of a porcelain doll. But there is something about the doll that seems to make it more than just a child's toy? Here is a preview of the story. “When it came to me, I was given one box. This box had a porcelain doll. This was the first and last sad doll I had ever seen. This doll had brown hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a blue and white outfit. Its face fixed in a frown and a tear on its face. I looked, and she and my mother smiled a little too sweetly and asked if I liked it. I nodded and pushed it besides me and watch my other step and half-siblings open their gifts. After all the gift opening, I went into my room with the doll and just stared at it for hours. The doll was sad, which was the first that I ever saw.
