Janet Anderson, MSW, LICSW, is a motivational speaker, author, mental health professional, track and field coach, and entrepreneur. She has dedicated her life to bringing light into darkness. She knew from a young age that she could be a catalyst in helping and healing others. Janet has over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health. Janet runs a successful outpatient clinic, Janet Anderson Counseling, Inc., which offers therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinic, located in Edina, MN, has gained recognition state wide in the cutting edge trauma therapy, Quantum Neuro Reset Therapy. Janet was the first women in Minnesota to be certified in this progressive and exciting type of therapy. In 2013, she founded Team Lighthouse, an organization made up of individuals who are committed to becoming the best versions of themselves. Recognized for her athletic ability, Janet is an all-American pole vaulter. She competed in the first women's NCAA Division III national track meet. She has coached track and field athletes for the past 16 years. Janet resides in Minneapolis, MN, with her husband, Brett, and their three young boys, Christopher, Daniel, and Nicholas. She enjoys nature, being active, living authentically, and dancing in her kitchen. Currently, she is writing and researching a book on the emotion of joy.
