The born-again believers are not called to strive, sweat or struggle to gain victory over Satan and his cohorts and works, but to appropriate, enjoy or take pleasure in the victory that Jesus Christ has won for them through His death on the cross (1 Cor. 15:57, Heb. 2:14-15).
However, it takes revelation knowledge of the person, power, and perfect work of Jesus Christ, and accurate knowledge of who you are in Christ, what you have in Christ, and what you can do through Christ to appropriate, experience and enjoy the victory that is already yours in and through Christ.
