Today's pit stop brings us all the way back to Michelle Rodriguez's first movie: Karyn Kusama's 2000 boxing flick Girlfight! After checking the mail (and talking about pizza for a while), visiting the island for a mostly-Letty-free episode of LOST (to admire Jin's abs and talk about a three-way that just has to happen already), and struggling to rescue Vince from the front of the truck he's dangling on (note the brand!), we enter the ring to spar with Diana Guzman. We talk about the explosive energy from Michelle Rodriguez and how she landed the part. We also explore her character's relationship with her nod-to-Rocky-named boyfriend Adrian, discuss whether or not that element needed to be included, and what the movie's semi-ambiguous ending really means.
