Okay, the more I deal with the issues we have as a transgender community the more it is clear to me that the biggest reasons for our lack of support from many non-trans people is they believe we choose to be transgender. If we choose this as a lifestyle then it is our fault and we do not deserve protection under the law, respect, health and even life on some occasions. This is evident based on the recent comments you see and hear from the beating in Maryland.
