When your mind is running around in circles how do you stop it? How do you get out of your head? Emily does something physical to stop her ever-whirring mind. For her, it can be anything, including taking a sledgehammer to her wall or putting up a shelf. Becky has used exercise "almost like breathing" as a survival mechanism to switch off her mind and uses it as a buffer from work to bed. Amy has to exercise before mid-day and she loves to walk.
