Today I’m in conversation with Anthony McCann - his main work is as a specialist ADHD Coach and Trainer for ADHD awareness. He also works internationally as a public speaker. He was diagnosed with Adult ADHD at the age of 44 and believes passionately that a deeper understanding of how the ADHD brain-body works can lead us to helpfully transform our personal and professional lives. Anthony worked across the social sciences and humanities as a university lecturer and researcher for 20 years, teaching in a number of different disciplines along the way. In today’s episode we explored can striving to be authentic about a lived experience of ADHD risk harm… but we did a lot of exploration of what ADHD is and isn’t first. Anthony was fascinating to talk to and I could have gone in any one of a hundred directions with his ideas; I hope you enjoy our chat!
