#003 I had the opportunity to chat with Kelsey Rehome who is a mental health counselor and therapist. From early on, she was told that starting her own private practice was for much later in her career. That hasn't stopped her from getting started now. Kelsey works her 9-5 job as a counselor and therapist while working to get enough hours to take her private practice full-time. In this episode, we talk about how she has been able to start her own business in the mental health field with very little background in business. Several other topics that we cover include: Overcoming imposter syndrome and the fear of getting started How Kelsey has been able to build up a clientele for her private practice despite working her 9-5 The importance of being transparent and providing value to your customer/audience Some of the next steps for Kelsey as she continues to grow her private practice You can find the show notes, transcript, and all the links mentioned in Episode 3 over on my website: https://ninefivepodcast.com/episode3 If you enjoyed this episode or any of the other episodes on the Nine-Five Podcast, please head on over to iTunes and leave a review.
