Another FANTASTIC coaching/assessing session with a newly graduated student from Jordan! He said that he had never been to tutorial centers; and because of this, he doesn't have the ability to develop his spoken fluency. In the first two questions, he had difficulty developing his argument; but after that, he got much better and understands structure. This is a problem for most students who don't have the ability to speak to other English speakers. When they try developing their arguments and speaking, their thought-groups are often misplaced, causing a disruption of flow. How can you get better? Well most people don't have foreigners around, so try reading aloud for 30 minutes every day. This can improve your fluency.
