Fifteen years into transformational consultancy in IT spaces and financial service firms, Bibigi got pregnant while on a large-scale project. Her maternity struggles served as her "aha" that she pivoted to personal branding activism. She created a community that helps women figure out what they are spectacular at, own it up, and then find words and a platform to share it with the world.

Highlights:

  • What showing up really means
  • How group coaching and community learning benefits women, especially in networking and leveraging resources including brain power
  • How dealing with negative self-talk can limit or up women's sense of self-agency and why we should not believe most of it
  • How the language that we use makes the difference both in our perceptions and actions

----------

While everyone else's default mode is looking it up in Google, in a book, or in any other established institution in order to help women meet their needs so they can show their greatness in different spaces, virtual and personal, Bibigi would utilize the personal expertise and experiences of individuals in her community to empower them. As we listen to her expound on self-talk, self-awareness, self-compassion, and risks, we will better understand why her branding us considered activism and why as women, we should subscribe to it.

Bibigi Haile is the founder of The Beauvoir Group, a career management, and personal branding consultancy. She works with women in middle and senior management roles, helping them make bold moves in their lives and careers as they discover the possibilities that come with finding their voice, embracing it, and becoming visible on their own terms.
