We are back and kicking off season 3 in the middle of Mental health awareness week with a podcast where we maybe go off topic and talk a bit too much about climbing and getting into mother nature...
In this episode of Chat chit Chris talks to Luke who talks about the loss of his mother the other things that began to make his mental health spiral. Luke tried a number of things to help his mental health but ultimately a period of time during covid allowed him to change his perspective on his life and change the trajectory he was on. He is a very impressive guy and has started a mental health social called "Chalking helps" to allow a space where like minded people can come together to climb and connect.
Below is a run down of different parts of the podcast but what we learn is that movement and adventure in the big outdoors are two crucial things that help him manage his mental health.
