Welcome back to the show! This week, I am SO excited to be bringing you this RICH money conversation with Felina Danalis, M.A., S.E.P. (she/her) who helps individuals and mission-driven organizations master resilience to stress, anxiety and trauma in order to have a more meaningful impact in the world in a culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed, body-based way.
This conversation adds something that has been sorely missing on my show- a global and systemic angle to money that has never been discussed before.
Folks, a holistic, trauma informed conversation about money must include the various aspects of systemic and social traumas that impact how humans relate to money.
"We can talk about what’s happening on an individual level but if we’re not also taking into account systemic trauma we can really cause a lot of harm to ourselves and the people we are serving.”
This conversation also explores the idea of the exploitation of self, and our “inner colonizer” which is something I see a lot in myself and my clients.
Felina and I also address the impact of human consumption on the climate, and the implications of consuming material objects on the global system, their cost on the environment and our wellbeing on the long run.
We also bring up the idea of sufficiency and how important it is in our relationship to money as healers and coaches, as it pertains to our overall wellbeing, wealth and our collaboration with others.
I hope you love this episode! Please reach out if you have any questions, and don't forget to leave a 5 star review!
❤️ Nadine
