Welcome to the first episode of Season 2. Season 2 was shot and recorded at the Collegedale Church, in Collegedale, TN, on the campus of Southern Adventist University. Ryan's special guests for this season are made up of local pastors, students and university staff. "Social Justice" is a hot topic currently. Many in the church feel conflicted over different social justice issues. So how should a Christian interact with something that is controversial? Listen to Ryan and his guests as they dive into this topic and share their own perspectives. Let us introduce you to this episode's special guests: Pastor Luke Steen is a pastor serving in Marietta GA. He is passionate about sharing the grace of Jesus to anyone and everyone. Pastor Luke did not grow up a Christian but came to Christ after having been cut from an Ice Hockey team at the age of 18. He began studying the Bible for himself and through personal study found his greatest friend in Jesus and the truth of the Adventist message. He felt the call to pursue ministry at his baptism in August of 2013 so he attended Southern Adventist University graduating with his degree in Theology. Pastor Luke is married to his beautiful wife Carissa. They currently have no kids, but have a dog named Esua. Jonathan Rodney is a 25-year-old Chicagoland native who loves to travel, learn foreign languages, do anything music-related, surf, and learn more about God and His plans for him. www.theprojectrefresh.org www.isryanbeckerright.com Special Thanks to Southern Adventist University for allowing us to record on their campus.
