In this episode, I speak to a superwoman - my British-Brazilian friend Roberta Lucca. Roberta, also known as Beta, is serial entrepreneur and keynote speaker on futurism and leadership. She the co-founder of the BAFTA-winning Bossa Studios, a VC-backed, multi-million-dollar video game company based in London. She was listed in Forbes as one of the Top 50 Women in Tech, and among the Most Influential in Creative Arts by the Evening Standard. More recently, she's the host of her own hit podcast, Hyper Curious. Beta is an inspiration who deeply believes - and demonstrates - that you can be whoever you want to be and do whatever you want to do. This woman has serious resolve, and her confidence is contagious. At the end of the day, it seems that the courage to becoming like that lies in accepting that failure is all part of the process. Listen as we discuss: Her challenges coming from Brazil to the UK (and the language shock she received) Her stern belief that humans can live many lifetimes simultaneously Fear and how she overcomes it despite feeling it in its full capacity How accepting failure is the key to being bold Her foray into stand-up comedy and the epiphany that she has limitless potential Why many of us never live the life, or lives, we want to live Success can never be planned or crafted and is a side effect of passion Why awards don't equal success Succeeding as a woman in male dominated fields The power of intentionality Feeling guilty for having no regrets (and that's a good thing) Instagram: @solve.for.happy, @onebillionhappy, @mo_gawdat Facebook: Slo Mo, onebillionhappy LinkedIn: /in/mogawdat Connect with Roberta Lucca on Instagram @beta.lucca, on Twitter @betalucca1, on Linkedin @robertalucca, and on Facebook @RealBetaLucca.
