German-born and trained dressage rider, Silva Martin, is a successful competitor and sought-after trainer and coach of both dressage and event riders. She and her husband Boyd, a member of the US Eventing Team, own and operate their farm, Windurra USA, in Cochranville, Pennsylvania. Early in her career, Silva passed her Bereiters exam at the German Riding School in Warendorf with an “excellent” mark and is fortunate to have apprenticed with noted horsemen Paul Beck, Rudolf Zeilinger and Hubertus Schmidt.
