I've been a fan of EfonTalk for 10 years. I've listened to every podcast. All of them. Only one that I stopped before it was over and dozens that I have recommended to friends.

In-depth discussions of economics. The episodes are sometimes long and rambling, but enough episodes are great that I have subscribed for years.

Russ does a great job hosting the podcast. Even with people he agrees with, he asks very good contrarían questions that are actually challenging to address. Sometimes Russ goes a little too far defending his beliefs about climate change and religion that he doesn't hold that same level of a critical lense to those ideas as he seems to about everything else. Be prepared to listen to many topics that have a very loose connection to economics.
