Ep. 223 - Reconsidering Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Why RFK Jr.'s NOT Anti-Vaxxer, & his take on today's' Democrats & Trump
Jan 17 2020 48 mins
Ep. 223 - According to Robert F. Kennedy Jr, the #CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) which approves new vaccines, allows employees to receive up to $150,000 from #vaccine manufacturers. Ep. 203 - Jon Gabriel on "Trump as the New Normal" and then David Carter on Media, Abortion, Religion and Trade
Jun 14 2019 48 mins
While not technically a Whiskey Politics episode, we thought our viewers and listeners would appreciate hearing a 2-fer from two of Ricochet's favorite writers who we interviewed at Real Side Radio, where I'm a guest host (on the GCN Network, heard on 52 terrestrial stations nationwide and 3000 satellite). First up is Jon Gabriel, Editor in ChIef at Ricochet.com, Contributor at USAToday and AZRepublic as well as the co-host of the popular podcast The Conservatarians. Jon discusses why the "arrogant" anti-Trump Conservatives have got it all wrong (and Jon was never a Trump fan) and how the world is now following America's lessons in how to fight back. Follow Jon's popular Twitter feed at http://Twitter.com/exjon. Then the voice of Radio Deplorable, the always thought-provoking raconteur David Carter who discusses everything from media malfeasance causing 'the tide to turn' with voters, Kirsten Gillibrand's abortion politics, Trump's trade policies, religion and his recent article on Ricochet. You can find Dave at http://DaveCarterOnline.com and his Twitter feed at http://twitter.com/DBCarter62. Ep. 201 - Don Blankenship: Coal, Unions, Obama's Labor Dept., Prison, Death & "Cocaine Mitch".
May 31 2019 152 mins
Ep. 201 - The Curious Case of Don Blankenship, or as Rolling Stone Magazine called "The Dark Lord of Coal" and other's refer to the "Most Hated Man in West Virginia". This full-length interview covers the tragic day when Massey Energy's Upper Big Branch Mine in WV exploded killing 29 miners. After years of fighting increased regulation by the Obama Labor Dept., CEO Don Blankenship was indicted on four felony counts, and although all counts were dismissed, he was found guilty on a misdemeanor and served a year in prison. After being released, Don ran a Senate campaign losing the nomination to run against West Virginia Senator, Joe Manchin. It was during this campaign many considered his words racist and the media, both news and comedians, skewered him. One of the most enduring catch-phrases from this campaign, "Cocaine Mitch" referring to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, is still used today. This is a fascinating story where we hear the other side of a rather tarnished coin that involves union corruption and political malfeasance going up to the highest levels of the Obama Administration.https://youtu.be/FZNJeAobmyIIf you're enjoying the series, PLEASE Support #WhiskeyPolitics at http://paypal.me/mywhiskeypolitics. Tim Phillips: Americans For Prosperity
Oct 29 2018 45 mins
Ep. 149 - Tim Phillips leads Americans for Prosperity (AFP), founded in 2004, which is one of the country's most influential American conservative organizations. This libertarian/conservative political advocacy group is funded by David H. Koch and Charles Koch and has over 3,200,000 members in 36 states. https://youtu.be/lsY892pYetYAfter the 2009 inauguration of President Barack Obama, AFP helped transform the Tea Party movement into a political force. It organized significant opposition to Obama administration initiatives such as global warming regulation, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the expansion of Medicaid and economic stimulus. It helped turn back cap and trade, the major environmental proposal of Obama's first term. AFP advocated for limits on the collective bargaining rights of public-sector trade unions and for right-to-work laws, and it opposed raising the federal minimum wage. AFP played an active role in the achievement of the Republican majority in the House of Representatives in 2010 and in the Senate in 2014. In the 2014 mid-term election cycle, AFP led all groups, other than political action committees (PACs), in spending on political television advertising.Today Tim and AFP is focused on National Senate races in battleground states, Congressional races and on some of the most important issues of our time, from health care, social security, spending, Right To Work, to Tax Reform and more. americansforprosperity.org/Follow Tim on Twitter: https://twitter.com/TimPhillipsAFPProduced by Praemonitus Communications. Please subscribe to Whiskey Politics on YouTube youtube.com/c/WhiskeyPoliticsFind us on: The Ricochet Network ricochet.com/series/whiskey-politics/WhiskeyPolitics.net whiskeypolitics.net/Facebook facebook.com/whiskeypoliticsblogDave on Twitter twitter.com/DavidSussmanShown on Americas Voice News Network. americasvoicenews.com/Subscribe to your favorite podcast application including TuneIn, tunein.com/podcasts/Political-News/Whiskey-Politics-p1123767/Stitcher, stitcher.com/podcast/whiskey-politicsGooglePlay, play.google.com/music/listen#/ps/Ic2bnaem2cwo3pul3do22dypz6uand iTunes itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/whiskey-politics/id1104427904 where your 5-star rating will be greatly appreciated!Music: Ben Sounds. bensound.com/

Heather MacDonald and Judge Jeanine Pirro
Jul 30 2018 49 mins
Ep. 133: Heather MacDonald and Judge Jeanine Pirro.First Heather MacDonald, (the Thomas W. Smith Fellow at the Manhattan Institute and Contributing Editor at City Journal), discusses why America is in crisis, from the universities to the workplace. From her new book The Diversity Delusion: How Race and Gender Pandering Corrupt the University and Undermine Our Culture. Heather discusses how toxic ideas first spread by higher education have undermined humanistic values, fueled intolerance, and widened divisions in our larger culture. Chaucer, Shakespeare and Milton? Oppressive. American history? Tyranny. Professors correcting grammar and spelling, or employers hiring by merit? Racist and sexist. Students emerge into the working world believing that human beings are defined by their skin color, gender, and sexual preference, and that oppression based on these characteristics is the American experience. Speech that challenges these campus orthodoxies is silenced with brute force. Not only is this impacting our culture, but also our competitiveness as countries such as China and India who don't assign such priorities will hire the best scientists and doctors, and are making gains in curing diseases and societal ills. Follow Heather on Twitter @HMDatMI.Then Judge Jeanine Pirro (former judge, prosecutor, politician and the host of Fox News Channel's Justice with Judge Jeanine) calls in to discuss the "dark forces that seek to obstruct and undermine the president, their ultimate goal to reverse the results of the 2016 presidential election". Judge Pirro first discusses how civil discourse is missing from our culture, including her recent experience on the television show The View, where Whoopi Goldberg had some choice words. Then Judge Pirro discusses why she is not optimistic that the FBI, DOJ and other institutions will be held to account for their attempt to alter the 2016 election, what is happening with the Mueller investigation and she answers a couple of Ricochet member questions. Gregory Wrightstone: Inconvenient Facts, The Science Al Gore Doesn’t Want You To Know
Apr 22 2018 60 mins
Ep: 117 - Let’s call this the “Earth Day” episode where we continue this weeks theme of arguing about the “science is settled” approach and how politics has permeated our hard sciences. In our last episode, Dr. Brian Keating discussed how politics impacts who wins the Nobel Prize. One such winner was the Former Vice President Al Gore for his focus on global warming and climate change. A decade later, much of Al Gore's predictions have not only not come true but Gregory Wrightstone's comprehensive book Inconvenient Facts, The Science Al Gore Doesn’t Want You To Know demonstrates newer climate data from the United Nations and NOAA showing over 60 inconvenient facts invalidating much of what Al Gore, the left, academia, and our media have been reporting for years. Gregory is a geologist with more than 35 years of experience researching and studying various aspects of the Earth's processes. He earned a bachelor's degree from Waynesburg University and a master's from West Virginia University, both in the field of geology. He has written and presented extensively on many aspects of geology including how paleogeography and paleoclimate control geologic processes. Gregory is a strong proponent of the scientific process and believes that policy decisions should be driven by science, facts, and data, not a political agenda. Greg has been interviewed on many news networks and speaks at events all over the world on his findings. Greg and his data can be found at InconvenientFacts.xzy and on Twitter @GregoryWrightstone.Register for Freedom Fest in Las Vegas this July 11-14 at FreedomFest.com and use code "WHISKEY100" for $100 off your tickets!Follow Whiskey Politics on Ricochet https://ricochet.com/series/whiskey-politics/ and at http://WhiskeyPolitics.net, 'like' our Facebook page, follow Dave on Twitter and subscribe to iTunes where your 5-star rating will be greatly appreciated!Out Music: Here Comes The Rain Again, Eurythmics.

Dr. Brian Keating: Losing the Nobel Prize
Apr 18 2018 50 mins
Ep: 116 - Dr. Brian Keating, PhD. is a professor of physics at the Center for Astrophysics & Space Sciences (CASS) in the Department of Physics at the University of California, San Diego. He is a public speaker, inventor, and an expert in the study of the universe’s oldest light, the cosmic microwave background (CMB), using it to learn about the origin and evolution of the universe. He has written for many publications including Scientific American and is about to be the first speaker from the hard sciences at Prager U. Brian bravely counters much of scientific academia where he believes the overwhelming majority of scientists are atheists and "hardcore leftists" and their beliefs actually impact the politics of science. How does this effect scientific findings and those who are awarded? His latest book, Losing the Nobel Prize: A Story of Cosmology, Ambition, and the Perils of Science's Highest Honor where Brian "provocatively argues that the Nobel Prize, instead of advancing scientific progress, may actually hamper it, encouraging speed and greed while punishing collaboration and bold innovation. In a thoughtful reappraisal of the wishes of Alfred Nobel, Keating offers practical solutions for reforming the prize, providing a vision of a scientific future in which cosmologists may, finally, be able to see all the way back to the very beginning." Sabo at Home
Feb 02 2018 72 mins
Episode 97: Sabo at Home. When you pierce the echo chambers of Miley Cyrus, Nick Cage, Johnny Depp, Russell Brand, Jimmy Kimmel and their like-minded thinkers, you generally become referred to as a "provocateur", and that's the kindest thing these people call Sabo. On this episode of Whiskey Politics, we have an open and transparent discussion with conservative street 'guerilla' artist Sabo from his home in Los Angeles. Fresh off the HBO Vice News piece about him and the countless articles seen by millions, several times placed on Drudge, his art often placed in and around the Hollywood award shows which raise eyebrows, forcing people to face tough truths. Additionally, more people are learning that artists can be also found on the Right.Sabo coined the term "Conservativism is the New Punk". And there is nothing more punk rock than raging against the system, powerful elites, and groupthink by demonstrating their hypocrisy through compelling and original pieces that has everyone talking. Sabo opens up about being banned on social media, 'shadowblocking' Conservatives, the blight of inner cities being used as 'Democratic voter farms'. We also discuss the next generation of voters, social justice warriors on parade (and his encounters at the woman's march). Is there still an alt-right? And his potential upcoming visit to the Oscars. Oh, and remember the Al Franken billboard? That was the result of choreographed dance with a lot of practice.Meet Sabo at Saving California on March 17th in Burbank, CA. Andy Puzder on Withdrawing as Labor Secretary, Minimum Wage and Small Business
Aug 10 2017 23 mins
Andy Puzder joined us at Freedom Fest to discuss the minimum wage, small business regulations, his withdrawal from Labor Secretary and the poignant discussion he had with Mike Pence, and his last marketing effort at Carls Jr, creating possibly one of the greatest commercials in modern times. In February 2017, fast-food executive Andy Puzder withdrew his nomination to be Labor Secretary as the White House realized the CEO of CKE Restaurants would go down in defeat due to infighting even on the Republican side of Congress. Only a couple of days following the termination of Mike Flynn, seeing one of President Trump’s cabinet picks walking away was a victory for Democrats, unions and liberal groups. New York Times attacked Mr. Puzder's business record and, more importantly to Andy, his character. Mr. Puzder said his treatment had been “an unprecedented smear campaign.” Democrats vocally lauded Mr. Puzder’s withdrawal as "a victory for working Americans". Conservatives were dismayed as Mr. Puzder, while running both Carls Jr. and Hardees staunchly opposed the Affordable Care Act, spoke out against the Progressive's effort to increase the minimum wage to $15 and overtime rules. The unions despised his policies and made it personal.Andy can be found on Twitter and his book Job Creation: How it Really Works and Why Government Doesn't Understand It on Amazon.
