#403: Mailbag (with Joe Derosa and Louis Katz in the park)
Oct 05 2020 70 mins
Joe Deros and Louis Katz met me in a park on the outskirts of Chinatown just to shoot the crap. Derosa and I drank Natty Lights. Katz kept his mask on the whole time. We got stared at by old Chinese people. A black dude named Freedom talked to us for far too long. It was a fun episode in the record-anywhere spirit of the Skeptic Tank. The mailbag part of it is something I do on my patreon. Patreon.com/SkepticTank. The Skanks table read live Pay Per View is Sunday, October 18 at 8pm Eastern time. You can get tickets here. The Sunday show at Stress Factory is What's Your F**king Deal. Big Jay hosts it. I'm either doing audience mic or doing the last set. The Friday and Saturday shows are just regular standup headline sets by me. Sunday is the only weird one. Come to both if you want, they'll be completely different. Get tickets here. On my patreon, I do solo versions of mailbag questions from fans, sex/dating advice, arrest stories, and travel tales that I call Plogs. Also, I often put out ahead-of-time releases of podcasts before they go out to the public. Please join up to support me at patreon.com/arishaffir This episode is literally brought to manscaped.com. Use promo code "Skeptic" to get 20% off your first order and FREE shipping. For real, I would not have done this episode if they weren't paying me. I would have just taken the week off. So thank them for making it happen. If you're gonna trim your balls anyway, why not let Manscaped.com trim them for you?

#400: Shoot To Kill (@DanishAndOneill) Ryan Oneill and Jeff Danis of Beach Cops and Boner City USA fame join Skeptic Tank to talk about getting shot at from 5 feet away and living to tell about it.
Sep 14 2020 253 mins
Ryan Oneill and Jeff Danis come on to talk about some criminal mastermind shooting 3-5 gunshots at Oneill from about 4 feet away. Unfortunately the guy missed. But something good will come from it. And the good is that D&O, The Danish and O'Neill, The Beach Cops boys are able to come on Skeptic Tank to talk over the harrowing experience. Harrowing for Ryan. Jeff was changing his kid's diaper or something, which I guess is also harrowing. Probably more harrowing when you think about it. Check out Beach Cops on Patreon. It's the best way to support them. $5 a month can keep these lunatics making crazy stuff. #380: Have A Corona (@MarkNormand)
Apr 01 2020 176 mins
Mark Normand became the first (and only) guest in the newly built Skeptic Tank Studio! This was recorded March 17, the first day bars and restaurants were closed in New York. We talked about what it was doing to standup, our fears, made jokes about everything, and drank some ice cold Coronas while we did it. This podcast is also the first on the new Skeptic Tank youtube channel. (youtube.com/SkepticTank) Check that out for full episodes, episode clips, brand new podcasts, and lots of new content. And subscribe! That's where all the live episodes will live from now on as opposed to the other YouTube channel that was just a still picture with the audio over it. Nobody knew how far Covid 19 would go and nobody was yet saying even not to meet up with friends. But in between recording this podcast, and before my interview the next day, it started to seem more like a health risk to have a guest and my producer come to the studio. So we called it off until we learned more. But before we did, Mark and I talked about all that was happening with the Swine AIDS. I spent half of February looking for a place and half of March building it. We'll be back. Probably. Who knows? Check out Mark's podcast, Tuesdays with Stories, that he does every Tuesday with Joe List. It's a great podcast and their back catalog should eat up tons of your free time. This episode was brought to you by Sheath Underwear. If you go to SheathUnderwear.com and use the promo code "Ari" you save 20% off your order! That's a fifth!

#332: 9/11 Killed JFK (@DSGermain & @TimJDillon)
Aug 14 2018 163 mins
Tim Dillon and Dan St Germain came over to talk about conspiracy theories. Both those guys are way into that stuff so that's all they talk about anyway. Get Dan's brand new comedy album, No Real Winners Here at DanStGermain.net or wherever you buy albums. I think I said 500 times that it was called Bad At The Good Times but that was his old album. I messed up. Get No Real Winners Here. I mean, get both if you want. He's been funny for a long time. But definitely get No Real Winners Here. At Danstgermain.net. Jesus. The whole reason we even got the idea to do the podcast in the first place was to use the opportunity to hype his album. And then I didn't even get that part right. I mean, come on. So please help me make up for that by making No Real Winners Here the top album on iTunes. Get it. It'll be a good purchase regardless of my mess-up. But now it'll also help get me out of a mistake. Please. Or if you don't buy albums, at least go listen to it on Spotify and tell Dan how you like it. No Real Winners Here. And Watch Tim Dillon on the Netflix 15 minutes sets. Streaming now. I'm in Edinburgh at the Fringe Festival every day at 6pm at the Hive. It smells like vomit and there's no cell phone reception. I love it there. You can get tickets ahead of time before they sell out and then pay what you want after the show. Or, I save as many seats as I can for walkups for no charge. But get there EARLY! In September I'll be in Austin at Cap City Comedy Club. October in Phoenix, November through Europe. Tickets on sale at arishaffir.com/tour Oh! And I forgot to remind you. Shroomfest is August 25-27 this year. Last minute efforts right now to get supplies. See you on the other siiiiide.
