The hidden djinn has been a deep dive into the spirits known as genies and the stories are well produced and very interesting.

So interesting. I didn't know much at all about the Jinn. Needless to say I am fascinated. I eagerly await more episodes!

Takes a broad perspective lumping all ghosts and other paranormal phenomena in with Djinn, rather than concentrating on clear Djinn phenomenon. Much skepticism instead of interviews with witnesses to clear Djinn encounters in caves, temples, deserts and from magical attacks or from soldiers in Iran/Iraq. More lore and traditional perspective than hard-hitting research like that of Rosemary Ellen Guiley and others. Will check in now and again in case it improves.

Contrary to Rabia's claim, made early in the first episode, belief in the supernatural is no prerequisite for being drawn into this utterly fascinating tapestry of folklore that spans millenia, covers continents, and binds all of human culture with a single thread. You don't have to believe in ghosts to enjoy a good ghost story. And let me tell you, this is some hair raising material. The schizophrenic narrative, such as it is, zips around in history like a globe trotting minnow, and I dig it.

I love this podcast, thanks Rabia! The similarities between Djinn and the Leprechauns or Fairies in Ireland led me to learn about the mass migration from the Middle East to Ireland thousands of years ago.
