The Compact Disc format was revolutionary, so much potential! And some folks would try to seize this to create THE all-in-one home entertainment console. Unfortunatley most of these attempts failed due to trying to focus on to much as well as trying to compete with devices that could do the individual elements far better and cheaper. But still they are interesting artifacts in the history of gaming consoles which yes for the most part their games are pretty horrible, the music from them is quite surprising!
