This week's episode is a conversation with the co-founders of Public Habit, a beautiful clothing line that not only utilizes responsibly sourced natural fibers, BUT is also working to challenge the traditional apparel production process. They have partnered with factories, that they have scrutinized to meet their ethical and sustainability standards, to produce on-demand clothing. Meaning they only make what a customer orders - eliminating waste in production and forecasting.

Recorded remotely on March 7, 2020.

Due to coronavirus, we had a virtual chat from the safety of our homes. I met Syndey & Zakhar in 2019 and have had the chance to work with them in navigating the sustainable apparel landscape and messaging/branding ideas. I visited one of their pop-up retail sales in December 2019 to see the actual products in-person and was blown away by the quality and prices. They are making luxury natural fibers accessible and sustainable.

I love this conversation as it walks through a fascinating entrepreneur journey and path to creating a mindful apparel company, challenging every traditional production model along the way.
