About:

Aral Sea Productions X HAVEN Coffee presents Migrant Ground, a limited series podcast that highlights different themes on migration and refugee-hood in the UK. Through interviews with refugees, migrants and organisations who are helping on the ground, we want to open people’s minds and let the audience envision a world where the narrative in the UK has changed.

As a refugee himself, director Usman Khalid has a keen interest in highlighting some of the issues and false narratives surrounding refugee-hood.
