She surprised her doctors and specialists as there was "no way she could be suffering from endometriosis at her age". It's safe to say that no one listened to her when she said she was in pain, not even professionals. Everyone said it was in her head, that is was all mental -- one specialist even asked her if she had been sexually abused as a child, because that would explain the pain. After a very long time, and after listening to her body, Ally was finally diagnosed with endometriosis. The pain was real!
