This podcast is about decolonizing the IRO curriculum and African politics in IR in which try to explore the ways in which IRO is perceived by students, academics in the field and how this relates to the overall picture.
As students from the African Politics Club, we believe that African politics are under pursued. We also realize that an incorporative, balanced approach to international politics requires retracing colonial history and the act of decolonization.
In which way and to which extent, the room for decolonization in academia and the ways in which the student body interacts with that topic is laid out in three episodes.
