Latch is the way your baby attaches to your breast during breastfeeding. A good latch is imperative for a pain-free experience for the parent, and for efficient and proper milk removal for your baby.

In this workshop we will discuss:

  • Why a good latch is important and some consequences or a poor latch
  • What a good latch should look and feel like (and how to know if is good)
  • Baby-led vs parent-led latching
  • Ways to improve a latch
  • What to do if the latch is not improving with these steps and other things that may be going on
